Paranoid about getting disease at work...? |
Im a student nurse and im paranoid about getting HIV from my patients. I know the risk is none to very low...but I cant stop thinking about it...like last week I had to change the bed of an HIV patient...the bed was full with blood and even though I used a gown and double gloves am paranoid that I have HIV now...can I get it....if not why am I so anxious and cant wait to get tested...Why is this??? Please help.... in my head am like...oh my god what if something got in my eye or mouth....argh I recommend that you seek a mental health professional to help you deal with this paranoia. It's okay to be fearful about getting HIV, but not when it prevents you from doing your job. |

It is a sad, sad situation. Hopefully they will realize that killing them as scapegoats will not help their situation, and will in fact make it worse. ...I dont believe that a child can get hiv through nursing, however the baby can contract it while you are pregnant, since it is a blood disease (technically) and you share the same blood with the chi... Is it 48K annually or $48 an hour annually? The second means you are making $100,000 a year for your first MSW job is amazing (it is hard to imagine you will find many jobs that will be able to me... The openning of your cervix can change during your period, it is more open the second day of your period cause this is the day when you have more flow, and it is the heaviest day. your openning ... Just a guess. There'd be allot more dead, dying and very sick. I'm all for reducing the global human population. I'd like to think we could find a more humane way of accomplishing... I would not wish death on those I disagree with. However they should look at this and realize that this is what we are facing and must as a nation over come. ...I have been in the medical field for over 20 years and I would get checked if I was accidentally poked by my pastors needle because there are worse things out there than HIV/AIDS. Hepatitis kills f... Why don't you try Ayurveda or Homeopathy ? ... |
