I have been told a lot of nurses who come from 3rd world are attracted because we don't screen them for HIV? |
Is there any truth in this? Does anyone on here know? I was told this by a London based consultant - he said our wards were filled with overseas workers who had infections so they had to come and work in UK rather than another country where nurses are screened Probably, i think all nurses should be screened Why wouldn't this surprise me? Don't be so silly, its because they worked hard and got their qualifications. They do a nurses job without expecting a pay rise because they think they are playing doctor!!!!!!!!! No, they are not screened i beg to differ with the cheeseburger person, getting HIV in most cases is a choice , it's caught through unprotected sex even though ppl are told time and time again to use a condom, very few HIV cases are caused by blood transfusions so get your facts right before you start abusing those asking a question. |
