I had an HIV test done and when I call the nurse is "busy!"?

I had an HIV test done and when I call the nurse is "busy!"?
I am awaiting an HIV test I had done about 3 weeks ago. They called yesterday and left a message for me to call them, and I called twice today and each time they put me on hold and tell me that no nurse is available to speak with me at that time, and that they'll call me back. They never called back.

I had unprotected sex a few years ago with a man I know was a needle user, and I also had other times where I did not use a condom..but the needle user is the one I worry about.

I am not proud of my actions, and have changed my ways, but I worry that it is about to come back to haunt me.

Why do you think that the nurse hasn't returned my call? I worry she's afraid to tell me that I have it!

It came out NEGATIVE>>>>>>>>>>>.
Thank the lord.

Thanks for all your support.

Hi Hun!! Wow....yeah...I can see how waiting on such an important answer would be nerve wrecking!

If you were in my neck of the woods,I would suggest you wait until after new years. (You have waited this long after all). With this being near a holiday,I would bet that wherever you had the test done is probably short handed. After new years..go see them in person and talk to somebody in Authority.

I hope all turns out OK for you!!! If you need somebody to chat with afterward (or before) you know the results...Feel free to look me up!!! I would be happy to chat with you!!

Stop calling and actually go get your results. You won't get any sleep until you do.

They will probably call you into the office to give you any news! Be patient! Good Luck! To thine own self be true!

Calm down. It's thoughtless of them, but that's the way those offices normally operate. I really don't think they're not calling back to avoid telling you something. They're usually not afraid, they would just say something

You probably should either ask to talk with the office manager, or actually go down there and speak to them personally.

Ohhh, wow, you must be soooo scared! I am so sorry! I just want you to know that I am keeping you in my prayers;; everything will be ok!! Just go there and see your results..better knowing earlier than wondering, right? And who knows, maybe the nurse is just busy after all!! :D

I think if you did have it they would contact you even quicker! So dont worry about it so much.I know its hard to do but try and calm down.If you did have something wrong they would contact you as soon as possible. If you're that worried go to the clinic and see whats up in person.I wish you the best of luck.If you need some support or more of my opinion email me :) Happy New Year.
