Will I experience some sort of withdrawl if I stop taking tylenol everyday, after doing so for almost 3 years? |
I have been taking tylenol PM for 3 years so that I could sleep. Yes, I know how horrible that is. Anyway, I have finally started taking a sleep aid that doesn't have the tylenol, (I started yesterday.) but was just curious if I will experiece some kind of withdrawl. I kid you not when I say non-stop for 3 years. When they came out with the Advil PM, I tried it for a few nights, but associated it with a stomach ache that kept occuring so I stopped. I didn't think of it at the time, but maybe the stomach ache was some sort of Tylenol withdrawl. I have heard it can cause headaches but you should stop. Too much Tylenol (acetaminophen) can cause liver damage. acetaminophen is the scientific name. |
