My plan for rescuing the american economy.?

a) find a way to stop pissing away billions of dollars daily in iraq ASAP..even if it means the iraqi oil money has to pay for it.

b) The govt mandates increased refinery capacity ASAP...even if it means tax payer money has to pay for the building of 2 new refineries in two separate parts of the country.

c)Tax cuts to all americans making less than $125,000 per year.

d) Find a way ASAP to significantly reduce the cost of health care, health care insurance and pharmaceuticals by embarking on programs that increase competition vastly amongst providers...also offer more aid to those who want to become doctors and nurses....offer incentives for building hospitals and opening clinics etc..
d) Seal the border and start a major crack down on companies who hire illegal aliens e) offer tax code incentives such as better depreciation and some tax cuts to major employers for the number of american employees here at home on their payrolls f) Embark on manhattan like project to guarantee

that at least half of all american cars on the road will run indepent of oil or fossil fuel within the next 20 years and to be totally fossil fuel free on the roads in 30 years.

No, and here's why:

a) Agreed, but the Iraqi oil money won't cover the trillion dollars.
b) I don't agree with the American tax payers picking up the tab to build new refineries when the oil companies have been giving hundreds of million of dollars to their CEO's and officers. Lee Raymond from Exxon Mobile receive a retirement package of 600 million. They can foot the bill.
c) We can't afford the proposed tax cuts because the country is 9.2 trillion dollars in debt and the debt increases 1.49 million dollars per day.

e) agree the border should be secure, but those people who employ illegal aliens should be put in prison. End NAFTA, GATT, and other free trade schemes and increase the tarrifs. Trade will take care of the rest.

dude, almost everything you said is "find a way" to do this or that. its ridiculous but if you found a way good for you. now here is my plan. Tariffs on imports and more exports, almost like mercantilism while maintaining a capitalistic status.

D:It needs to get out of government hands to be more affordable, no aid from the government..people should have to work for what they want.

Lead the way and go for it! The war is a giant rat hole eating up our future. Our dependence on these Arab nations has got to come to a close and we need modern refineries and no-gas vehicles. Tax cuts would assist people who are living in high tax states, counties and cities that are taxing people to death to stay afloat and continue to waste our money. Farmers and corporations freely admit to using illegals and fear the day when they will have to pay decent wages to Americans to get this kind of work done. The growers will also have to pay American benefits as well, finally paying their fair share into the system. Maybe they will grow better crops and use less chemicals because Americans will demand better work conditions.
