Risk of Infection?

Hi, i recently has my blood glucose levels checked.
The nurse didnt use a needle, but one of those small things that pricks ur finger. After she pricked my finger, a pool of blood came out of my finger. Then she used one of those diabetes glucouse level machines with the strip of paper hanging from the top (diabetics use these) to absorbed the blood.
I think she did not change the strip from the last patient and used the same previous strip to absorb my blood. Its is likely that there was blood on the previous test strip and it came in contact with blood coming out of the prick of my finger.
Is it poosible to transmit any viruses like AIDS from this mistake?

Testing strips cannot be reused. They can't. No mistake was made.

Those strips are disposable and they cannot be reused. It is very unlikely that any blood was transmitted from the machine to your finger.

don't worry, those things have a little needle that has to be changed before it will work again, the needle was fresh, never used before.
The test strips work only once too, and get thrown out after use.
You are perfectly safe.
