Why don't more people donate blood? |
Seriously. It's easy and you're SAVING LIVES. Why don't people get how important it is? We had 430 employees, only 48 people donated at the most successful drive at my company, and the nurses said that was a good turnout. I have a fear of needles when they're coming at me, but I gave blood once and couldn't even get half a bag from me. They said I started swelling up as soon as the needle went in and constricted my vein. It hurt like h_ll, but I would do it again if I wasn't afraid of the same thing happening again. i dont know i always wanted to donate blood hopeing i could find out my blood type since i dont know myself but they wont let me because of my age not enough iron :-( |
