Is it possible for me to work as nurse in Canada without having an experience? |
I am 22 years old. A June 2007 Board exam passer.I have a sister in Alberta Canada that's why I wanted to work there as a nurse or a caregiver either in hospital or in a Homecare. My only experience was being an OJT in a public Hospital here in Philippines for 3 months.I already had an IV therapy,Basic life support and Standard First aid trainings. Please do help me find a job that is suitable for me. They should be able to tell you what their criteria are for obtaining a licence to practise in the province. You might have to take an extra year of training if you want to practise nursing. If you want to be a personal support worker, I don't think the criteria are as strict. Good luck! not sure how things are there now |
