Is it possible for me to work as nurse in Canada without having an experience?

I am 22 years old. A June 2007 Board exam passer.I have a sister in Alberta Canada that's why I wanted to work there as a nurse or a caregiver either in hospital or in a Homecare. My only experience was being an OJT in a public Hospital here in Philippines for 3 months.I already had an IV therapy,Basic life support and Standard First aid trainings. Please do help me find a job that is suitable for me. Thank you and God Bless=)

no because in quebec l`ordre des infirmi猫res is the rule

I'm not exactly sure what the procedure is but you might want to contact the Alberta nurses association. They should be able to tell you what their criteria are for obtaining a licence to practise in the province. You might have to take an extra year of training if you want to practise nursing. If you want to be a personal support worker, I don't think the criteria are as strict. Good luck!

not sure how things are there now
you could ask your sister to do some research for you to see
if there is plenty of jobs there
but 10 years ago i met a canadian nurse who told me she could not find a job there and moved to the us
to find a job
