Is cannabis a medicine?

Health and Human Services claims that 聯marijuana has no currently accepted medical use in
treatment in the United States.聰 However, more than 6,500 reports and journal articles from
around the world support the medical value of cannabis (marijuana). In addition, dozens of
public health organizations have endorsed medical use of marijuana including the National
Association of People Living With AIDS, AIDS Action Council, the American Public Health
Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Nurses Association, the
Federation of American Scientists, Kaiser Permanente, the New England Journal of Medicine, the
National Association for Public Health Policy, the California Medical Association, the Whitman-
Walker Clinic, the Lymphoma Foundation of America, and many more.

It could be used as an herbal remedy. I wouldn't say medicine because it's not a drug, it's an herb.

It has medicinal value, yes.

I know people who would beg to differ with you. A recent example.... someone I know had the flu and couldn't keep anything down. He really wanted to just go to bed and sleep it off but had the dry heaves so bad that he couldn't. He also could not take medicine to knock him out because it wouldn't stay down. So he got high and slept like a baby and felt so much better.

The government in the US will say no....However as you have sited other entities have show it to be effective for many different diagnosis'. Whether it is for a appetite enhancer/pain reliever for cancer/AIDS patients or for Glaucoma treatments it is medicinal and effective

was this even a question i know the first part was but then you gave all the evidence for it so why did you even ask it sounds like you already know keep an open mind and yes you are right it does have many medicinal values including helping chemeo patients regain their appetite therefore gaing wait
