How can you get a good job as a nanny? I live in central FL.? |
I am a Certified Nursing Assistant with current license in FL, as well as CPR and First Aid, also current certifications. I started working in a local nursing home but I did not enjoy so much. I thought it was too depressing and I could not lift the elderly people ( I am kinda short and no strength at all!). Anyway, my husband suggested I look for a nanny position in our town. I never worked as a nanny but the thought really excited me. I don't have kids but that doesn't mean I don't like them. I am 31 and have a simple, healthy life (never smoked, don't drink, never used drugs, obey all laws, honest, trustworthy, compassionate, kind, etc). I believe I have good qualities to help a family with their kids. I like in lakeland, FL. Where can I find a nice job as a nanny where I live? Would they hire me although I don't have experience caring from children (well... I helped care for my brother who has cerebral palsy for 17 yrs)? correction: I LIVE in Lakeland I am a nanny. I found my job on www.enannysource.com . You don't need to pay for it (but you will only be able to contact families that have a payed membership if you don't). That is what I did, and I now have a full time nanny position that pays $400 a week. I love it. |
