Does MediCare/AId provide assistance with obtaining a travelling nurse to move a relative into a nursing home? |
If a patient is covered under Medicare or Medicaide in California, do the insurance providers provide financial assistance with obtaining a travelling nurse to transport a relative from her home into a nursing home facility, The nursing home would be located in TX. Each state has their own rules. Your best bet is to go to the Academy of Elder law Attorneys website at http://naela.org/Applications/ConsumerDi... My suggestion would be to call Medicare and ask them the question. I have no idea if they will pay for that travel but they can tell you for certain. Don't take someone else's say for the question, as it's too serious a deal to take. |
