Hate wearing hearing aids?

I really hate wearing my hearing aids, i am a nurse so i need to...my speech is a little impaired, i am 26 single and never had a gf. I feel terriable, no one seems to be interested in me and judge me as a disabled person. any suggestions?

What? (just kidding) Anybody that would not be interested in you only for that reason isn't someone you should want in your life. Are you a little too self conscious? Forget about it. Make like you're the best man at the bar. Just do it!

i were bi-lateral hearing aids and wouldn't give them up for anyone!!!!
any woman how judges you as not worth it because of hearing aids isn't worth having
you might want to take a look at how you carry your self
the way you view your self is how others see you
that may be a big part of it

I would no sooner judge you for having hearing aids than I would someone for wearing contacts or glasses. That's completely superficial. So what? You have hearing problems. No big deal. I'd rather be with someone who wore the biggest, bulkiest hearing aids than I would with someone I constantly have to repeat everything to or yell to in order to get a response.

hun...i'm so jelous that you have hearing aids..my left ear is completely deaf due to havin surgery and i'm worried my other hearing will go if future brain operations have their way..my speech is ok but hard sometimes and i'm 28 n single!! i wish could have a hearing aid...i hate it espesh in a pub when people try to talk to me n i'm like "yuh wot luv?" hahahaha i'm always gettin judged coz the left side of my face doesnt work (hence difficult trying to talk well)and people look at me like..well i cant explain it but i'm hoping my face will work again next year after another op. so at least i have hope.. life is what it is hun...keep strong as hard as it is..hugs x

There nothing wrong with hearing aid. you just haven't found the Right person yet or rather the right women hasn't found you. I work with deaf and hard of hearing children, and I admire them.

anyone worth their salt will look past any disability, i'm in love with a guy who has really bad facial twitching, i look past at the real man underneath, wear your hearing aids and be proud to be yourself, i think it's more to do with your self consciousness that's putting girls off than your disability
