Duties of nurses aid in nursing homes in east texas? helping to groom, bathe,feed patients, following nursing care plans. This depends on how mobile the patients are. If you work on a floor with patients that can do all of the above themselves then you would just assist them in any way needed.The less mobile they are,the more help they will need.And to the other answerer: we don't give sponge baths unless the person can not get out of bed at all. If they are in a wheelchair, there is a special shower room where other nurses aides help them shower as well as mobile patients. Its a giant shower room where they just help them shower. And we don't use sponges. We use wash cloths. changing old peoples dippers & wipeing thier *ss, giving spong baths 2 old people. |

They probably collect dirty laundry, bedding, and towels from the residents and bring them to the laundry, then possibly return them to where they belong once they're clean. I'd guess ... think this is a psychological issue with her wanting both attention, and feeling self loathing for her condition of having to rely on another person... perhaps, she knows u are nice, and may want ... You're going to be interacting with nurses and doctors, so you need to know what they are talking about. ...It can get infected if you keep pushing it back out like that... it might be a little too short and since its swollen you might need a longer bar. Go see them cuz you dont wanna get it infected... ... Call the nursing home she works at. ...yeh ...It depends what they are capable of... Would they like to read the paper? Do they want to sit in a chair? Do they want their lights on or off? Would they like some cool water to have nearby? ... Nurse aid is Financial aid!!!!!! ... |
