While by today's standards this pressure is a little higher than ideal it is does not require any emergency intervention. Maintenance medication if indicated by the patients general health history can be prescribed by a physician that will need monitoring

Pretty much what GG said.+excersize and diet.NO SALT other than a small bit in cooking.

Included with decreased salt and exercise, make sure the person doesn't have a lot of stressors in their life.
