How can you heal a relationship with your siblings after losing a parent?

I am one of 5. I was raised by my daddy and didn't see much of my mom when I was growing up.
My mother had cancer and I was with her from the first operation. The oldest child had reservations and didn't want to go to the hospital, but did and then made it all about her. Then took the oppertunity to tell us stories about what our mom did and said to us when we were little. I could of gone the rest of my life not knowing what I know now.
And then when mom got real sick with her cancer my sister got mad when I the second to yongest stepped up and got mom some Hospice Care. We ended up putting her in a nursing home and my sister went in and took her out but didn't take her to her house she took mom back to her house to her husband who could not take care of himself yet alone take care of mom.
My mom lost her battle with cancer one year ago and us kids are still hurting over it and now our dad has cancer..And my sister is starting to do with dad as with mom.
We hardly talk anymore.

We are grown and have our own families..Except for this sister she is married with no kids.

well...i don't really know how you are feeling coz i've never been in that situation. but i think the best way would be to just TALK it out, show him/her that you are really trying, do things for them even if you don't what to. to things that you've never done for them.

sometimes you have to be the one to make someone you love listen to you and your thoughts and feeling.i think all the kids involed still feel alot of guilt and pain, maybe all of you need to sit down and talk about how they felt and how they are feeling with your dad being sick and reach out as a family and grieve together and be strong when one is wek,the sister with no kids is probaly feeling the most pain and loss since she was the caregiver and feels she needed to take care of everyone but is afraid to let you see she needed help and maybe feels helpless,

she is probably and was probably have a hard time and was dealing it differently than anyone else. The best thing to do , like with anything else, is to sit down and have a talk. All the siblings come together and express your feelings in a calm and constructive way..understand everyone's feelings and what they want to do. dont forget to say you love each other and will always be there. You should ALL compromise on something like dealing with your dad, if youre going to take him to a nursing home, etc before doing it
