Cancer is taking her? |
My Grandma was diagnosed with Lung Cancer on Oct.1st, 2007. She had 2 sessions of Chemo and gave up. She is now scary-skinny, and very weak. She is on oxygen, and my grandma is now going to be seeing a hospice nurse. She knows her time is soon, with the cancer spreading to her liver and she is only 63! How can i stop feeling sad. (see my aim profile: Norfolk 722). If you can, email me or Instant message me with ways to cope. She is my best friend, and i dont think i can humanely cope with her soon-to-be- loss. Greetings Alissa I'll pray for you. And i rarely do pray but in this instance, we both need it for our friends. This is a very tough time. Find people who are supportive of you. You need to be able to talk, cry and just not always have it together. Our family has had lots of losses and each one was very tough. Everybody would do better if they stuck together. If you don't feel you have enough support, ask hospice about support groups and other supports they have. I just lost my mum to cancer she was 60. She was diagnosed with kidney cancer in may, by the time they found it the cancer had spread to her liver and lung. She pasted away sept 7 after only a 4 month battle. It was very aggressive and stripped her of all dignity and life. The pain is intense, my Mum was my best friend.. it was so sudden and such a shock i miss her terribly. email me we can support each other. |
