Best value TV antennae (for an area without cable or satellite)?

My grandmother is in a hospice nursing home that doesn't have cable. She wants to get our local channels. Does anyone know the cheapest and best one to buy?

Well that means she needs a Table-Top antenna.

RCA makes a nice "powered" antenna that helps to amplify the antenna signal, giving your grandmother better signal....you can get these at Best Buy....And seriously....it really doesn't matter the brand....If it's a name you've heard of before, they'll make a good product....

I just like RCA because they build TVs, and they make TV antenna/amps.

NOW while the hospice may not have CABLE....maybe they have a MASTER Antenna for local reception, if so, there should be an antenna connector in her area....Check with the nurse, or better yet the maintenance crew......

I've dealt with this situation in several nursing homes.
