I would like to find out what i need to obtain a California hospice license, policies and procedures.? |
hospice and palliative care agency. nursing isuues and requirements, what dhs would require and where to obtain an application. are there resources we can contact that may assist in formulating policies and procedures for a licensed hospice care agency? The best place to start is by contacting NHPCO - National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization - on the web. You will need to familarize yourself with Hospice care, and they're the place to start. Then the California Hospice Association ( I think it's abbreviated CAHSAH) will help as well. You'll have to get licensed by California at the health division, who also will survey you to see if you've met Medicare regulations. Probably contacting the California Board of Health.....start there and they will probably lead you down the path. Or, call a hospice and tell them that you are writing a research paper and where do they get the information that you need. |
