World War I memoir.?

In my American History class, I have a project (due tomorrow). I have to write a page (in memoir/journal) about being someone in World War I. I decided to be a nurse. What things could I talk about? What would be the atmosphere? Etc.

It would be dirty, and hard. Also, you would not be taken seriously, because you are a woman so you can write about that too. Good luck.
