Is there a difference in a nursing journal vs. a peer reviewed nursing journal? |
Aren't all journals peer reviewed anyway? Not all journals are peer-reviewed (the ones that aren't are called magazines LOL!). I believe it should state in the journal itself whether or not it is. And, as far as what the difference is, peer-reviewed journals have articles that are read by other nurses prior to publication, and those nurses need to come to some sort of consensus about the content of the article. This does give peer-reviewed journals more credibility in the world of research and academia. |
