Is dating someone older, alot older, make you less of a person?

He makes me feel great emotionally. He doesn't support me in any way. I am a open person, he likes that. I work as an LPN and I ask my fellow nurses and they say he is using me for sex. I'm only 20 yrs old. He seems to get a trill that I'm so young. I don't allow him to give me money, I'll feel as if I'm using him. I don't know many of his friends, and none of his family. I'm worried that my family will disown me if they find out that I'm sleeping with a much older guy.

It depends how old that person is and if he is like 40 years older than you then it is wrong.

It's really no ones business but your own. If he treats you well, and you have a good time together, who cares how old he is? My ex's mother was 23 years younger than his dad. He died at the age of 89 and she has been alone ever since, but they were totally commited to each other.

To answer your question, No it does not make you less of a person. This is a very personal choice that only you can make. Your family should support you in what ever decision you make...that's what family is for. As far as friends are concerned, if they are true friends then they will support you, any that do not were never "true" friends to begin with. If you love him, then go for it and don't feel bad about it.......

How much is "a lot" older? Are we talking 60 or 70? If so, that's, well, icky. Ten years older is no big deal. Even 15 years older isn't that bad. And if he's just using you for sex, well aren't you getting to have sex with him, too? I say a long as you both are happy, just enjoy your relationship.

There is nothing wrong with dating someone of a different age. My sister is married to a man 21 years older than her. I think it is funny to think when my mom was giving birth to her he was at a bar getting drunk. I know I am wierd.

It is however bizzarre that you know none of his friends or family. If you two are happy than you should want to share that with the other people you care about.It sounds like you both are ashamed of each other and that is not good.

Be open with both of your families and friends. If they can not accept it than you have to make a choice. Do you want him or your family (if they make you choose).

Is he married ? and are you sure if he Say's he is not that he is telling the truth ..
For him its a great thing .. a 20 year old girl full of life and in her prime .. its maybe a way of feeling young again ..I would think it will deeply hurt your family but ultimately you are are the one who decides your future ..
