Licensed Practical Nurse or Cisco Certified Network Associate?

If you were to choose between doing Lpn or cisco certified network associate (ccna) which will you do?

CCNA. If you become an LPN you will probably be working at a long term care facility (i.e. nursing home). This is very hard work, usually understaffed and frequently with very unscrupulous employers.

Let me preface this by saying that I have a CCNA and have worked in IT for 12 years. Having a CCNA is nice, along with practical work experience. I've interviewed lots of candidates for networking jobs, and whether or not they had a CCNA would have no influence on my decision one way or another.
Perhaps the question you should be asking is whether someone would recommend a career in nursing or in IT. I'd say that there is no way to answer that question because each person's abilities and interests are different. What I would say is that the skill set to be a good nurse or a good IT person are very different and that you should evaluate your skills and abilities for each career.
