LPN versus LNA? |
Can anybody tell me what is the difference between LPNs (Licensed Practical Nurse) and LNAs (Licensed Nurse Assistant)??? Googling both terms did not help me. LPNs are higher then a LNA (CNA). Nursing assistants, basically assist the nurse on duty. If your search for LNA did not find anything, try CNA, most states call them CNAs (if your in the US). A Cna is Certified not Licensed and our job is basically to clean up the residents, LPN passes out meds all day and fills out paperwork. A CNA is under the LPN's and RN's lpn is 1 step under a nurse cna aka lna that is justa waste of time there is no jobs they dont pay good |
