Should I become a LPN ?

I'm thinking about becoming a LPN(license practical nurse). Is this a good field to go into?

Yes! You will always be able to find a job.

But, please realize that you do hold other peoples lives in your hands as a nurse. It is a big responsibility and very stressful at times. The failures are devastating, but the victories are wonderful!! Be prepared for a very emotional ride!

I was a LPN for 12 years, and have finally made my way back to school and became a RN! I love being a nurse... the world needs more good nurses, so if it is something you think you would like, then go for it!!!!

:)

Yes! Yes! Yes! Nursing is a great career and there are so many different avenues you can pursue.

yes...just like me im a registered nurse! go for it and i know you can make it.

Whoa nellie! Make sure you check the local paper classified to see if LPNs are being hired in your area. Here in South Florida, LPNs are mostly unemployed or working in other fields because hospitals and doctors are demanding RNs instead.

An LPN is better than nothing, but it is usually harder to get a job than an RN.
