I need info on LPN Nursing For a Research Paper.? |
Its for English Class I was a licensed practical nurse for ten years before I became a registered nurse. The LPN is traditionally the bedside nurse working under the direction of a doctor and/or a registered nurse. They do direct patient care such as bathing and treatments such as bandage changes. They gather data such as vital signs and are trained to report abnormals to the registered nurse or doctor. It takes at least a year of concentrated training to become an LPN. Some junior colleges have two year programs. After completing the course of study, State Boards must be passed. |
