Does an lpn nurse make more than a vet?

Does an lpn nurse make more than a vet?

A veternarian has to go to school for 4 years plus undergraduate school. You have to have a 3.5 grade point average to get in. And only 1 in 3 people get accepted. They average about $72,000 a year, and more depending on their practice. A LPN goes to school for 1 year and gets a certificate. There is a big difference there, as an LPN averages about $25,000 - $30,000.

NO

hell no

Yes.....Nurses Now-A-Days Are In High Demand.......

No. Veterinarians make way more. They make about the same as doctors.

No, my husband is an LPN and he does not make more than a Vet....

NO, LPNs don't make more than veterinary doctors.

About the same, a vet could make more after they are more established. If your going to do nursing, do not even consider LPN, Go Registered Nurse. LPNs work mostly in nursing homes and get $10,000 less a year than the RNs, want opportunity? Get a 2 year degree, want to be in line to move up once you have experience of 3-5yrs? Go BS Nursing, they get the Administration jobs. People always say, do the work that will make you the happiest... That is Crap, we work because we want to get paid. So if you have to work, do the jobs that will pay you the most. Happiness, is paying your bills and still have enough left over to enjoy life. Not Working for next to nothing, Having next to nothing, and not able to enjoy life... Hope that helps

Never !

haha NO,
neither does an RN,
a vet is a DOCTOR, just for animals, as you already knew

kinda the same way as a dentist and a hygenist.
