Going for a physical?

What happens when you go to the doctors for a physical? I have to get one for step team tryouts, and mines this Tuesday. I'm not nervous (per say) but I would like to know what to expect. Also if your doctor is a male (which mine is) will there be a female nurse present?

usually it's nothing much. the worst for me was to pee in a cup (gross..)

but that's it. probably a questionnaire too.

With any sort of exam that requires you to remove any clothing there has to be a female nurse present even if your doctor is a woman.

no I don't believe that a female nurse will be present,but when I went to the doctors I got the usual height,weight,blood pressure,breast exam and 2 shots.But I did get a visual exam of my genitals(her hands we cold)=[

walk across the room
balance on one leg
they glance down at your vagina
they will ask if you if you've been to the dentist.

then you leave and get a lollipop:]

i've been to at least 15 of those in my lifetime.

Since its for a sport, they wont look at your privates, they dont need to. They check everything else though its pretty quick and they ask you questions such as do you smoke or drink and have sex.

best thing (if you can) have a female docter that will take most of the pressure away because it is better if someone who is your same gender checks you out then a male and a female that takes away ALOT of pressure

There should always be a female nurse present. If not, any random female adult will do. DO NOT let an adult male examine you in any way without a female present.
The doctor will do a regular physical, possibly including an exam of your reproductive organs.
Remember, DO NOT trust a male alone with you. He may be a professional doctor, but he is a male first, and 90% of adult males are hot for teen girls. MAKE SURE a female is present.

okaaay i went for a sports physical a couple weeks ago [which is prob what ur getting] and [EW GET A GIRL DOCTOR. well have a parent or aunt present] the grosest thing is the doctor putting their hand up ur shirt to hear ur heart. nothing that bad. well id rather have a 26-40 yr old guy doctor than my 65 year old female one. just make sure ur not alone with them.
