How easy will it be for you to refuse to be seen by a doctor of the oppostie sex?

If you go to a government hospital for a problem for which you need to undress, and you are referred to a female doctor/ nurse (if you are a male) or a male doctor (if you are a female)........

(1) Would you feel uncomfortable? How much?

(2) Would you feel wronged?

(3) If you are a man, can you bring yourself up to say, "I would like to see a male doctor please".

(4) In your culture, will you be thought of less of a man if you do?

It would never be comfortable in this type of situation. As i m male i would ask for a male doctor to check me out. and basically a female would never dare it to do.

I told the lady doctor that I prefered not to have a digital exam. So I went to a male doctor.

Well, I had this problem. I really didn't want to be seen by a male gynocologist and I made sure to tell the person on the phone when I made the app. I have refused to see a male ever since and they have never had a problem with it....

1-I am a female, and I do not feel comfortable with a male doctor.

2-I don't feel wronged, but it is my preference.

3- As a woman, I would have no problem asking for a female doctor. I might not get one, but I would have to ask.

4-In our culture, we are a people who are shamelessly demanding to the point of rudeness - so I don't think anyone would think less of a man who prefers a male doctor.
