Why wont my Siamese male mate with my Siamese female? |
I have a young tom (8 months) and he will mate with a young female grey tabby just fine, but seems to want to try to nurse the older Siamese female and has no interest in mating with her in heat. She can strut right in front of him and he just sits there and yawns. Well he is just not interested so there isn't much you can do to make him either. Why is he trying to nurse her, does she have kittens already? He is still young too just getting into his sexual prime so he may one day decide enough with the nursing and get it on....but there is nothing you can do to make him, if he wants to he will otherwise he may just not like her in that way. it may be becuz one is chinese and the other japanese. your tom is more attracted to the tabby for some reason. Maybe try removing the taby from the environment for the time being(not in the same house, the tom will smell her). Maybe the tom thinks that it is his mom that is what happen to one of my cats that i found well all you can do is wait, you cant force them lol!1 |
