I'm a simple gay,a discreet one. I'm afraid to live in kuwait since gays are forbidden. Is it true?

I am a male nurse and will work in one of the private hospitals there...I'm bothered coz I'm effiminate and not active homosexual...am I also under this law that homosexuality is forbidden.

I am from Kuwait and you can take my word, Kuwait has a civil law not full on Islamic law "sharea law" is only practiced in Kuwaiti courts in family matters.

So in Kuwait you will meet so many gay guys and homosexuals, the law in Kuwait only forbids homosexuality if it was done in public but if it was discreet and done behind closed doors you will be fine as long if there was no rape.

If you are gay then go live where the gays are, because they are your family. The people that oppose gays are not your family even if they may have give you birth.

well im not sure but i believe u will face a lot of problems there ,so i think u should go to a place where u can feel comfortable in being who u really r .

Do you have a choice? If you do, I'd stay away from the middle east unless you don't mind staying celibate for the etire time your there, and facing extreme pressure to date women, but just try to get out of it, and i'm sure your company will understand if you come out and say your fear for your life in kuwait if you happen to end up being outed.

in the middle east being gay is forbidden and out gay people have been tortured there i defiantly say stay out of the middle east,
