Ok, what about this thesis?

There are many reason why the percentage of male nurses have remained significantly low, and for these reasons nursing has maintained the image of femininity, which has resulted in fewer male nurses, hence, male nurse recruiment is necessary.

Does that flow ok?

Look at my other response in your last posting -- this is better that the last go-around, but I think it still sounds slightly choppy and unclear. Try working off the suggestion I put in my last response if you think it fits what you're looking to get at. Good luck!

replace the comma in front of "hence" with a semi-colon. I think that would make it perfect, haha. but seriously, it's dying for a semi-colan right there.

Yeah, it flows alright. Sorry to be so blunt but I think it runs. You need to say all that in ONE sentence?
Seems to me there was a jump in logic from "fewer male nurses" to "recruitment is necessary".
I mean, why do we need male nurses? (I know why, but you didn't say it)

Why do you claim nursing has "maintained an image of femininity" (it is, after all, a traditionally woman-fulfilled role)? How do you plan to demonstrate that nursing is "feminine"? And why is "femininity" a negative characteristic, one that we think naturally scares away men (why aren't women naturally scared away from traditionally male jobs)? I think you're on shaky ground here. Also, your reasoning is circular; you say the same thing twice ("the percentage of male nurses is low/fewer male nurses").

I don't think you need to prove that the nursing industry will benefit from male recruitment. This is already obvious in our appreciation for diversity and equality. The question is, _how_, exactly, do you propose to recruit male nurses? What would this recruiting consist of?

"In spite of dramatic improvements in medical technology over the last century, the typical gender of the nurse has stayed about the same: the field remains predominantly female. Because little has been or is currently being done in the way of actively encouraging and recruiting male nurses in order to ease this gender gap, I propose that gender- (male-)based recruitment should be stepped up in coming years."
