I need to buy some new nursing shoes before I return to work tommorrow. Any suggestions? |
I work 12 hr days on a medical surgical floor. I now am wearing a pair of birkenstocks with the strap on the back, but I have disliked these shoes ever since I wore them the 1st day. I only continued to wear them because I spent so much money on them. The new shoes can be tennis shoes or anything comfortable. Any reccomendations? PS I wear a womens size 12. Probably because I have spent the last 11 yrs walking all day and it made my foot much bigger. I started out nursing wearing a size 9. http://www.nextag.com/nursing-shoes/sear... Marc Jacobs, Jimmy Choo, and Manolo Blahniks are all fabulous shoes! Keds I love them there's these nurse sandals they make now, just slip them on.they come in all different colors.no straps try wal-mart,target... lane bryant & dr. shcolls It is really too bad that you have not been comfortable in the Birkenstocks you have been wearing. I was wondering what was bothering you and if you have spoken with the folks you bought the shoes from to figure out the problem. There are several simple solutions to making your shoes work better for you, including simple modifications to the way the shoe fits you. |
