Career choice? Working with kids.?

Ive changed my major / career choice a couple of times now. From kindergarden teacher to a neonatal nurse to now a loan processor.

I want a career that I can make lots of money and not have to worry about being financially unstable , and I KNOW Im supposed to do something that involves children.

I LOVE kids and I constantly have dreams of saving or nuturing lost babys and little kids. Its my destiny, but Im not quite sure what job would fit me and my needs.

I have a constant need to want to help and I want a job that I can give back, something I enjoy doing, that will make my life feel more complete. Money is diffentaly a big factor in choosing a career.

Any suggestions or ideas???

There's pediatric nursing or becoming a pediatrician (doctor), those are professions that could earn alot of money in that respect. It would also give great job satisfaction I think.

Other than that, there is speech pathology, which involves working with speech impaired kids. Or with a physical therapy degree you could work with kids who have been injured or sick. Or maybe even an counsellor...working with adopted children or something.

Becoming one of the above could also give you opportunities to volunteer overseas and help kids...in orphanages, third-world, etc.

Good luck, I hope you find what you're looking for.

Why don't you do something in the social work scene. You could help kids in many different ways. It can pay 40 thousand and up, or after a bit you may find that you want a lowering paying one (and can afford it) and switch to helping different kids.... Just an idea.... You could also work in another job that pays well, and then volunteer for the other work with kids on weekends/nights that is satisfying to both needs/wants.
