Does anybody think its wierd to play w/dolls? |
im 13 and i still like to play with dolls..and no one knows about this but my family....my friends dont know about it kuz i think its kinda embarassing..but ive been his way my whole life..and i plan going to Stanford collage and becoming a neonatal nurse.(a nurse that takes care of premature babies)kuz i was born in stanford as a premie so yea....help! Lol, I'm 16 and I still play with dolls. Nothing strange about it. :) Many people take years to mature away from children's toys. I still haven't, and I sneak some of my 3 year old niece's toy dolls to play with them. It's just you're motherly nature trying to settle, I guess. :) i think its okay to play with dolls(not saying i do) just dont listen to wat people say about you and dolls.if you cant take the embarresment try to quit tho. Well now that the whole freakin world knows you play with dolls, yeah it's kinda strange. But everybody has a quirk, just find somthing more mature to get into, Let me tell ya, I am 28 and I love playing with Dollfies!!! thats how long i played with em, who cares what ppl think? besides it sure beats goin out and having sex or doing drugs, yay for you!! People might think its weird, but there is nothing wrong with playing with toys. A few of my friends that are guys still like to play with little sailboats, so I think you're okay. = ] theres nothing wrong with this.....I'm 19 and I play with a doll or two here and there with my little sister, but don't worry there are much worse thing's out there to be worried about. Playing with dolls is A ok. Im 13 too, and i don't think it is weird. i play with dolls all the time. i even get one from my pareents for every birthday . it isn't wierd at all. everyone has different things that make them happy. other than playing with dolls, i like to cook and i don't know anyone who would rather cook than buy a new lipgloss that is my age. Awesome! I was premature too! I was supposed to be born in August, but instead June. I love dolls, and I am about your age. I love American Girls, and Madame Alexander. It is not weird. I collect action figures & my wife approves of my hobby. Don't let anyone take away your innocence or imgination. Hey, I'm 39, and I love my dolls, It's a great way to relax after a hard day at work, I love to change my dolls outfits and put them in different poses. Dolls are a great pastime for gals of all ages! Don't let anyone put you off. I just turned 51 last month and if I'm not too old to play with dolls (and I'm NOT!) then neither are you! Keep playing sweetie, you'll get old if you stop and that's no fun! |

This does sound like a homework type question... I have had 2 of my 3 kids be in the NICU. My Mom & Grandmother were both nurses (and both worked in the NICU on occasions.) I would have to say... You probably do need to be older and will require some training. Contact the hospital and find out what opportunities there are for interning or volunteering. They might have you start out with th...
