How should I go about becoming a neonatal nurse?

I really love babies and I want to become a neonatal nurse but I don't know how to get there. Please only answer if you are experienced and can help me.

Your first step is to locate an accredited educational institution, and only if the organization accrediting it is listed at http://www.ed.gov/admins/finaid/accred/i...

Then check to see if the insitution you're thinking of enrolling is is further accredited by AAMC at http://www.aamc.org/medicalschools.htm or JCAHO at http://www.jointcommission.org if you're not already a nurse, you've a long, yet very rewarding road ahead of you :-)
