Bloodwork - Nurse asked me to call back. Does this mean anything BAD? |
I'm waiting on my results for thyroid, hormones and some other things because I've lost a lot of weight and my period isn't coming on a regular basis. I'm nursing a toddler though. Dont worry. It may be just something simple that is off and can be corrected with a medication. If you are already on medication, they may want you to change your doseage. Hang in there... and call back tomorrow! not necessarily-- could just be to follow up w/ the appointment. I wouldn't worry myself. The nurse probably didn't have all the results in. Instead of giving you partial results, it is best to wait till everything gets back from the lab then tell the patient all of the results. I would worry if the physician calls and tell you to come back in. |
