Q for a doc or nurse, my doc wont call me back, please help?!?!? |
i am on my second month on nuva ring and my doctor told me i can keep it in for 4 weeks and then put a new one in right away so that i dont have to have periods, well the first month there was no bleeding but now this second month i will not stop bleeding, it started out spotty at the begining of the month and now has gotten heaver as the month went on, i have had the ring in the entire time so y am i bleeding? will it ever stop? Be persistent with contacting your doctor. This can be due to several different reasons. One it may not be strong enough and 2 your body is trying to get used to the hormone. While, I can't believe your doctor told you to use another one instead of having period (its not healthy for a woman to go long periods of time without a period). Be more persistent on getting them to call you back and yes the bleeding and spotting will stop once your body has regulated itself. |
