Is there a certain type of tv that is compatible with hospital nurse call (pillow speaker) remote control.?

Does anybody know if a normal (off the shelf ) tv could be converted over to a hospital environment whereby the tv set is controlled by the nurse call button. The TV would require either a converter of somesort or a special plug-in for this type of remote.

my question is .............what would be the actual use for it ?
