Most of my stories are romances which I find it easy to write and have quite a few published. The medical world is an ideal area for this, lots of conflict and close working together - men and women in life and death situations or even just a local doctor's practice. But, I don't have the medical knowledge to give my stories a realistic edge. Now I have been asked by a publisher to come up with a medical romance I need something to start my imagination, get the grey cells ticking and get situations to hang my characters on. Any suggestions of blogs or any way anyone can suggest to get some ideas from real life practitioners. I am very aware of patient confidentiality so quite understand everything has to be kept anonymous but I would so love to write a medical. Please help. I work in a nursing home and I was propositioned by an 86 year old yesterday if that's any help. Hi
Many thanks for answering my question. I would vote for it as a best answer but haven't managed to figure out how. But, many thanks anyway, being propositioned by an 86 year old must be an 'interesting' experience and not one that happens every day!
