My throat hurts when I swallow and I have fever. What can help? what is average # of illnesses in 1 year? |
Went to see a nurse practitioner, she looked at my throat and said its not strep throat. Didn't even run a test until I asked her... should get the results in 1-2 days i think. She prescribed lidocaine viscious to gargle, it numbs my mouth but doesn't help my throat :( Have never had this type of throat pain... Oh and by the way, I was sick 2 weeks ago, got better, then got sick again. This is the 4th time I've gotten sick in 4 1/2 months. She told me this is normal but i'm concerned. Everybody I know says that I'm sick too much. The best remedy for a soar throat is to gargle with salt in warm water. Do it three times a day it works..it's an old recipe from before they invented anti-biotics!! |

Since you have already reported this problem to your insurance, I suggest you let them handle this. Attempting to 'up-code' is a severe offense and can lead to not only monetary penaltie... my understanding is how they got there. A NP started as an RN and continued school, as PA may or may have not been a RN, may have been and EMT or in the millitary. Both must practice under the su... First to your present doctor's office (always keeping in mind that she can decide to NOT treat you at all). Then to your insurance carrier. (A lot of good THAT... At 6w3d, not much can be seen. It's a good sign that a sac was seen, it will be much easier to distinguish different things in August. Plus, it would be easier to see things transvaginally ...
