I have an appointment in April for my yearly check-up with the gyn but....?

we are TTC and have been for 6 months, with a chemical pregnancy. Hopefully this is our month and I should be ovulating soon. Do I keep my appointment even if I dont know that I am pregnant or not, and just let her know.

My gyn is a certified nurse practitioner, so when I do get pregnant I have to switch to an OB>

ALso, anyone else go to a ob/gyn practice, that you see whatever doctor is there and not the same one everytime? I am having mixed feelings about this?

I am taking over the counter prenatals, but I am going to ask her for a Rx...ty

i would say keep your appt, and when you see an ob/gyn it should always be the same person,

i have had the same Gyno for the last 4 years. get a new doc

Keep your appointment, most want to do a pap in early pregnancy anyway. Also, if you aren't already, it would be a good time for her to put you on prenatals.

Yes, you certainly can, I had no idea until I dug into this a little. Why do you have to go back every week though, what I do is just get a one/two month supply with refills. Just see someone once...

My doctor did the same. Sadly this is because your risk of miscarriage is greatest in the first couple of weeks. Good luck to you.
