I really need someone who knows a lot about this stuff-
I went to my gynecologist who has a nurse practitioner working with her. I told her of my irregular periods and PMS symptoms. She said I needed Natural Progesterone Cream and gave me a Rx for a compound from a pharmacy. I used it for several months but had to quit because I was literally getting my period ever other week and it was lasting longer than I was off. I would have my period 10 days and be off 8 then start again. I was told and read online that I should have less periods or none at all.
Why would it do that? What hormone condition or other explanation could cause that reaction? An allergic reaction could cause that. I know, most people don't think about allergies as anything other than sneezing or runny nose, but it can be any sort of reaction.
The actual progesterone itself is a natural product that helps most women by balancing out their hormonal fluctuations, which does normally reduce most of the "monthly issues" that women experience (PMS, cramps, bloating, etc).
You should still have a period on a regular basis with any sort of natural products, but there are many natural products that can also help to balance out your hormones. There's Black Cohosh, Chasteberry (also called Vitex), Dong Quai, and Omega-6 fatty acids like those in Borage Oil or Evening Primrose Oil.
There are also some phytoestrogens (plant hormones) that may effect your hormones, but a nutritionist or holistic doctor would be the best to ask what would be the best type (as different people have different responses to different supplements). I'll tell you why. Its not natural. You need a phytosterol supplement that feeds all 87 hormones in your body and only 17% are responsible for reproduction. Your adrenal glands are responsible for producing progesterone on their own.
If you take progesterone on its own, it causes imbalances in your endocrine (hormonal) system. It builds when it cannot be converted to cortisone and cortisol. Because, its not coming form your own body and thus, it can cause cancer, too.
When you take phytosterols in a standardizes supplement form, which is "food" it does not add hormones in your body. It is converted to DHEA, your youth hormone.
We start losing our DHEA at around 22 years of age and that is when we start to die. That's not normal. Why? Because we live in the age of deficient plant foods. It takes 52 peaches to make up for the 2 we got in 1950.
This is why infertility is on the rise and 25 year olds can't get pregnant. On the phytosterols, they do because their body begins to produce its own progesterone after the DHEA is converted to Testonerone and Estrogens... By the way, the phytosterols block estrogenic cancer causing receptors and lowers cancer risks in both men and women.
What the proper balance of progesterone is supposed to do:
* Reduces Symptoms of PMS
* A Natural Antidepressant
* Is a Natural Diuretic
* Helps use Fat for Energy
* Helps Thyroid Hormone Action
*Normalizes Zinc and Copper Levels
* Restores Proper Cell Oxygen Levels
* Protects against Endometrial Cancer
* Helps Protect against Breast Cancer
*Men have hormones, too... They need it too, and it helps protect againts Prostate Cancer
* Stimulates Osteoblasts - Mediated Bone Building, thereby protecting against Osteoperosis
* Necessary for the Survival of the Embryo
* Facilitates Thyroid Hormone Activity and Protects against Salt and Water Retention.
* Modulates the Function of the Hypothalamus in the Brain
The dance of the hormones can only be balanced through micronutrients that do not stimulate your hormones like compound hormones do, but rather, feeds them in a non toxic manner so that your enzymes can precurse them into all 87 hormones as needed.
Your transferase enzymes in your small intestine cannot convert compound hormones. It cannot fit them like a glove and therefore, they build in your system and can cause health risks.
The cream (A compound progesterone hormone) is adding an unnatural hormone and eliciting a reaction, and it is throwing you out of balance.
What I do is a hormone panel on my clients with a spit test and you have to spit in these little viles throughout the day to get an accurate reading. Why so many times?
You have 7 surges of hormones unique to your body every day and they are different than someone else's. The hormone panel will tell you how much DHEA, how much progesteron, estrogens, estroidals, and the like throughout the day you are secreting in your blood stream every day.
You didn't get that test, you were told and handed a prescription. That is the ultimate quackery in my book! They did best guess and not best test. However, I'm very forgiving because they had your best interest in mind and are well meaning, just not educated on biological nutrition. Doctors are given an optional course in nutrition and its about an hour.
Gynacologists and nurse practitioners cannot recite the the First and second biological pathways of your hormones if you asked them. They also can't answer how enzymatic conversions work through hormone conversions, because they are trained on "treatment" and I and my practice are trained on the cause of disease.
Message me for the only natural phytosterol non toxic hormone balancer available on the planet. It works. If you go for an inferior product, it sometimes will and sometimes won't work. You need top of the line.
The National Institute of Health is studying phytosterols because of the fact that it helps the body increase bone density.
Again, compound hormones are NOT natural. The pharmaceutical reps are on a campaign to teach doctors who do not practice biological nutrition to mess with our bodies in a bad way by calling them natural. They have the same long term harmful affects as any synthetic hormone because they tweak the body to elicit a reaction. That's not good. |
