Please help. Experience/Opinions?

may have a blighted ovem. If not, then I am 8 wks 3 days. At my last trans vaginal ultrasound, the nurse practitioner said that the "fetal plole" was so blurry that she couldn't tell if it was a fetal pole at all. I had a quantitative HCG blood test done which said my numbers are going up but not doubling. Doctor says this can mean I'm going to miscarry or that I'm one of the 15% of women who's numbers grow steadily rather than double. If it is a blighted ovem, when will I miscarry? It has been 2 wks since then and no signs of miscarriage.

Do what you can to protect your baby by not being to active at the moment and it's good idea to check foods and additives that can lead to miscarriages and avoid them. All the best. Mother of five.
Ps a good site to check this out is http://www.tinyprints.com/foods-to-avoid...

i was told this too when i was 4 weeks pregnant i did not have a scan tho ,they tested my hcg levels and it was low it was only 25 so they said i will m/c i went back 4 days later and said i wanted a blood test done and they came at 1836 so in four days it went from 25 to 1836 im now 7 weeks 3 days with my first midwife appointment on Thursday so they are not always right

please don't let a doc tell you if you're going to miscarry, then you will worry about...my doc told me i wasn't going to and i did...then my next baby he told me i was going to miscarry and she is healthy....doc's are not God. Think positive....

I have a friend who was told the same thing at 8 weeks, and she was told to go home and wait for the miscarriage. 4 weeks passed and nothing happened so she went in to the doctor to see about having a d & c... and when they put the doppler on her stomach, they found a heartbeat immediately! She is now 17 weeks pregnant and baby is still here! Doctors can be wrong! I agree with the others, stay off your feet as much as you can, and eat healthy! If you still have no signs of a miscarriage in another few weeks, go back to the doctor for a checkup and ultrasound. Best of luck!

are you still feeling the symptoms of pregnancy,if so you should be fine, but if they seem to have just stopped then there is a possibility, but i doubt it
good luck
