Insurance Help? |
So I had a D&C on Decmber 14th for a miscarriage. You can check with your old insurance and see if you are still in the "global period" (use those exact words) for the D&C. Some procedures have as long as a 90-day global period, meaning any follow up visits for that procedure are covered under a global agreement between the insurance company and the provider for a set number of days. I don't know what the global procedure for a D&C is. It may be as short as a few days or as long as 3 months. It's worth a phone call though. Good luck! I'd sure TRY making the doc comp it!! |
