Calcium Deposit or Cyst? |
have had two opinions on this so far and they were both different. A few months ago I noticed this lump near my shin on my leg. It is small and it moves around when I touch it. It feels pretty hard to me and I don't think it has gotten any bigger. A Nurse Practitioner told me it was an Epidermoid Cyst and my doctor today told me it was Calcified something. Any idea's? You cannot see it above my skin, it is not red, it does not hurt, but it bothers me feeling that it's there and wondering if it's growing or something. Sounds like a fatty tumor. I had one on my leg. It was not cancerous. But, it was a relief to get it off my leg---went to the dermatologist. He said those are usually caused by ingrown hairs. Could be either or...When the doctor tells you things, do you listen? It is important to listen and ask them until you understand what goes on with your body... |
