To woman who have been preg. more than 3 times? |
this is my 4th pregnancy in the last 4 1/2 years I know the feeling! ;) We are due with our fourth baby in April and the pain your feeling is what i feel too. My doc said it was normal too espechaily since they were all so close together. I found sitting down instead of standing like when im cooking dinner does help take the pain off a little bit and sitting on a heating pad before bed at night takes the edge off enough to let me fall asleep. How far along are you? Also tylonal helps a little bit but for the most part, its a you just have to deal with it thing :) hang in there tho!! Oh yes. I just had baby #4 3 weeks ago and I hurt from about 4 months on. I felt lots of pressure like if I sat on the toilet, my insides would fall out. They didn't, I carried for 38 weeks and all is fine! Take care and get plenty of rest! The best thing in the world for you right now is relaxation. A reclining chair really did the trick for me! Congrats and good luck. I'm just about 31 weeks along with my 4th, and for months the pain and pressure has been so bad I would swear the baby was trying to find his way out....not to mention the braxton hicks I've been getting since my 4th month are more intense then my labor pains had been...apparently this is normal after only having had 1 child..then the more kids you have the worse it gets...I was told feet up, maternity belt, warm baths, Tylenol, heating pads..but at the end of the day I can barely walk to make it up to bed...it doesn't help that there are 3 other kids to take care of either though....I personally try not to walk to much...i know this sounds stupid but I crawl around as much as I can, it seems to take all the pressure off... Yes, well, with my last which was my 3rd. I felt the same thing you are feeling. It was horrible. I did not want to stand up at all. I always had my hand as if holding the baby from falling out. I tried to stay sitting or do as little as possible. I actually bought a belly support. It did help some, not wonders but helped a little bit. I think they have them pretty much an;ywhere, I got mine at ToysRus. But on the bright side, the delivery was so simple and fast. I just hope this current pregnancy isnt worse than the last or I'm in for some big trouble feeling like that and with a toddler. Good luck!! |
