Do you have these problems with tampons? |
For the past 8 years I have had this problem with tampons and avoided using them. When I put in a tampon, at first I feel okay, then I start sweating and shaking and get almost a flash fever. I want to cry when this happens its so horrible. I asked the GYN nurse practitioner and she said she didn't know. Does anyone else ever feel like this when they use tampons? I feel like this even when i use tiny tampons. What might be wrong? My GYN practitioner also suggested I may be allergic to them. I'm wondering hwo I could be allergic to cotton and other fibers inside my body even though I wear them every day, I think its kinda weird. Since I posted this I bought natural sea sponge tampons to see how they work out. well all i noe is that some ppl can be allergic to them. that doesnt happend to me when i use them so, maybe there just not for you. if u dont like pads either get the thininst one possible. Maybe its an allergic reaction Not to me. But some women have a disease (I forget what it's called,sorry) that they tense up and get scared when they try to use a tampon. It also happens during sex. I suggest talking to your doctor because there is therapies. I have heard that some people are allergic to tampons. It may be you are one of those people. Do the symptoms go away after you remove it?
