What can I do if I have a blighted ovem? |
I may have a blighted ovem. If not, then I am 8 wks 3 days. At my last trans vaginal ultrasound, the nurse practitioner said that the "fetal plole" was so blurry that she couldn't tell if it was a fetal pole at all. I had a quantitative HCG blood test done which said my numbers are going up but not doubling. Doctor says this can mean I'm going to miscarry or that I'm one of the 15% of women who's numbers grow steadily rather than double. If it is a blighted ovem, when will I miscarry? It has been 2 wks since then and no signs of miscarriage. Your body wont always miscarry naturally and it can take around 2 weeks if it does. So that could happen anytime now. Are you doing more tests or another scan? It seems really un fair on you to keep you waiting like this. Go back as soon as you can and ask for more tests |
