Hi, does anyone feel a certain closeness to their female health care professionasl after getting a pap smear, pelvice exam and breast exam done by them? I ask this because i just recently had this done by my new femal health care professional and, I feel closer to her.

My health care professional is not a GYN she is a Family Nurse Practitioner and, she is very caring and gentle.

Nurse Practitioners are usually very caring and professional persons. It is good that she put you at ease

Well, it could be because these are lifesaving tests, and she happens to be the one who does them. She's essentially making sure you don't develop something that could kill you, and I'm guessing you love her for it. Nothing odd about that, I don't think. In fact, that's great that she made it easier for you. Some people absolutely hate any doctor.

I know what you mean and no I don't think you're a lesbo. I think it's more of a I feel good because you're taking care of me thing. And you don't go around showing everyone your body so it makes sense. And that they take such good care of you it makes you feel cared for and treated with respect.
