Really Worried?

My last period was 9-11-07. Ovulated around the 23-35. My period was due around 10-11-07 but still has not came. I have taken a few tests and all were negative. With my 1st pregnancy I did not show positive until I was 7 weeks. I am going to see my doctor's nurse practitioner today. Should I ask for a blood test instead of a urine test? Anything else I should ask them about?

Im not stressed over anything. Im the happiest I have ever been. So there is really no reason for my period not to happen.

I think its a really good idea that you ask for a blood test. There are other reasons why your period could be late such as not having balanced hormones and you could need vitamins that your body is not getting. A blood test will show your hormone levels. Or diabetes wich also effects your period. I have really irregular periods and after rockin the land of negative urine tests that my doctor had me take more than once(diff months), i finally just said "give me a blood test" because you can test so many other things including if there is a baby(im still waitin for results). Dont wait for the doc to recommend it we are women, and we know when something is different with our bodies. A blood test covers more areas than one, unlike the urine test, so its totally worth it and eases the mind a lil more! good luck!:)

Yea just ask for a blood test while ure there, dont worry to much if your not...if your stressed this cud b stopping you come on!
